Kirby Smart has had Florida’s number over the past two years, blowing the Gators out of the water in both 2017 and 2018 by a combined score of 78-24. The games haven’t exactly been the most competitive, but this year should be different in year two of Dan Mullen.

Florida hasn’t won this rivalry game since 2016 when Jim McElwain was still around, but both programs are trending in the same direction. However, Georgia is further ahead of Florida as a program and that might be the case for the next couple of seasons.

Luckily for the Gators, this game is played on neutral turf and it has been since 1927, so there will be no real home-field advantage here. The Bulldogs have the advantage on the field and Jake Fromm will have one heck of a game as he tries to prove he’s worth a first-round look in the coming NFL draft, but the Gators will keep it close.

With a 23-21 lead late in the fourth quarter, Fromm will hit Demetris Robertson on a 70-yard bomb to give the Bulldogs a 30-21 lead and that’s how things will finish.

Final Score: Florida 21, Georgia 30 (7-2, 4-2)
