The conference’s regular season will be winding down at this point and after losing to SEC East foe Georgia in heartbreaking fashion, the Gators could do two things. One, they could dwell on the loss and likely non-first place finish in the East which could lead to a plummet in the final three games or they could bounce back and fight for a New Year’s Six appearance.

I’m going with the latter since Dan Mullen is the head coach now and he’s going to keep his team’s head up despite the second SEC loss a week earlier.

Vanderbilt will come to town for this one and if you don’t remember, last season’s matchup between these two had some fireworks. The coaches were shouting at each other from the sidelines and the Gators looked to be on the verge of an upset loss, but turned it around into a 37-27 win.

Florida will come out swinging in this one and take a 17-0 lead by the middle of the second quarter. Feleipe Franks will respond to every Vanderbilt score with a touchdown pass of his own and Lamical Perine will top 100 yards rushing on the day.

The Gators coast to a comfortable win in Gainesville to help them forget the Georgia loss.

Final Score: Vanderbilt 17, Florida 34 (8-2, 5-2)
