Florida will welcome an FCS foe in Week 2 after getting a week off after the Week 0 kickoff game against Miami. Tennessee-Martin isn’t exactly going to light up the scoreboard in Gainesville, especially with how strong the Gators’ defense looks heading into the season.

The Skyhawks finished the 2018 season with a horrid 2-9 record and played two FBS opponents in Missouri and Middle Tennessee and lost by a combined score of 112-51. Neither game was close as they surrendered 51 and 61 points, respectively, so I’m going to assume the Gators score somewhere in the middle while giving up 10 points or less.

Feleipe Franks is going to reach the 200-yard mark through the air by halftime, throwing more touchdown passes than incompletions and the run game is going to pick up the offense in the second half as the starting quarterback gets a rest.

In fact, Lamical Perine and Dameon Pierce will both reach 100 yards and potentially another 100-yard rusher will surface in a blowout of the Skyhawks.

Final Score: Tennessee-Martin 6, Florida 56 (2-0)
