Florida gets another “bye week” of sorts after a couple of tough SEC contests to end the month of September.

Towson had an up-and-down 2018 season, finishing 7-5 but the Tigers did put together a few nice wins, beating No. 5 (in the FCS) Elon on the road by 31 points, No. 10 Villanova on the road by 10 and No. 13 Stony Brook by 24 points. It was a confusing season because they started out red-hot before closing the year with four losses in five games.

The Tigers’ lone game against an FBS foe was Wake Forest and it wasn’t all that close with the Demon Deacons winning 51-20. I see this one playing out in a similar fashion.

Florida’s offense will be humming by this point in the season and the defense will have plenty of confidence after holding two straight SEC foes under 20 points. This one will be all Gators from start to finish and another relaxing second half for Feleipe Franks.

Final Score: Towson 7, Florida 42 (5-0)
