No one wants to travel to Baton Rouge, especially not in the middle of the season with a perfect record on the line, but Florida must overcome the Tigers of LSU if it wants to maintain its first-place standing in the SEC East.

Ed Orgeron has done a solid job with this program after the departure of Les Miles, putting together a 25-9 record in two-plus years. Heading into this one, his Tigers could very well be undefeated, depending on how they fare against Texas in Week 2. If the Tigers are 5-0, this game could be one of the most telling of the SEC to this point.

Whoever wins this could make their mark on the title race and make a national statement as well.

Despite both sides having a solid quarterback and running backs who can put up solid numbers, it’ll be a defensive battle. The Tigers and Gators are known for defense and a low-scoring affair would surprise no one.

The game will be knotted up at 14 with the Tigers driving and freshman kicker Cade York will line up for the biggest field goal of his life from 41 yards out. He’ll drill it as time expires, handing Florida its first loss of the season.

Final Score: Florida 14, LSU 17 (6-1, 3-1)
