Week 2 proved to be another wild week in college football. Let’s take a look at three of the worst losses from the weekend.

The bottom half of the SEC highlighted the worst losses from Week 1. Specifically, Tennessee’s loss to Georgia State was the most notable defeat. In Week 2, the Volunteers loss for the second week in a row; however, losing 29-26 at home to a solid BYU team won’t make our list.

Before we do get into the three worst losses, we will look at a few games that were almost really bad.

The Michigan Wolverines escaped upset to the Army West Point Black Knights by the skin of their teeth, winning 24-21 in double overtime. Army almost pulled off an upset over Kyler Murray’s Oklahoma in 2018, so we will actually give the credit to the Black Knights.

Florida State also avoided an upset from UL-Monroe. In a home game for the Seminoles, it took a missed extra point by the UL-Monroe kicker for FSU to win, 45-44 in overtime.

Now, without further ado, let’s take a look at the three worst losses of the week.
