Florida football travels to Kentucky in its first true road game of the season. After a much needed tune-up, how will they match up?

The Florida Gators are 2-0 after winning at home against Tennessee Martin in Week 2. Now, they travel on the road to Kentucky, in their first game outside of the Sunshine State in 2019.

After a tough win in Week 0 against a tough Miami defense, Florida’s Feleipe Franks and company got a much needed tune up game against the Skyhawks, dominating from the outset. Franks was efficient, throwing only two incompletions on 27 attempts, while throwing for two touchdowns.

Kentucky, meanwhile, is coming into the game 2-0 against Toledo and Eastern Michigan. They have shown signs of being capable of being a successful team, but have not proven themselves as the top 20 team they were last season.

Florida comes into the game as an 8.5-point favorite in Week 3, and the Gators should be able to dominate as they go into the next week. Here are the Gators’ keys to victory in Week 3.
