3. Ramp up the pass rush

The Gators has had one of the best pass rushes in all of college football through the first two weeks. They have 15 sacks through two games, which leads all of college football.

What has been particularly impressive about the Gators is the depth on the defensive front, as they’ve had 14 different players contribute with at least half a sack, led by star defensive end Jabari Zuniga, who has three.

Before the season, the big question mark was whether anyone would be able to step up beside Zuniga, and the answer has been unequivocally yes. Chad Greenard, James Houston IV and Ventrell Miller all have all contributed a great deal, and provide the Gators depth and skill all across their front seven.

They’ll need to get after Kentucky quarterback Terry Wilson, who has been progressively inconsistent in his first two games, and frustrate him into poor throws.
