UCF football enters Week 3 against Stanford back at home. They come in as strong favorites, and here is the three reasons they’ll prevail.

UCF has opened the season on fire, dominating both FAMU and FAU. Granted, both games were games that the Knights were expected to win by a wide margin, but they’ve impressed as the season has progressed.

In comes Stanford, who will be UCF’s toughest competition to date. The Cardinal travel across the country to Orlando after losing to USC, in a game that they lost control of in the second half.

The game represents a clash of styles, with the Knights having a fast paced, big play style of offense, which uses four running back and receiver options to spread the field and attack defensive weaknesses. Stanford, is a slow and methodical offense, who allows quarterback KJ Costello to work his magic in finding receivers in the zone pockets. One of the best quarterbacks in the country, Costello can get in a zone to pick apart any defense.

UCF comes into the matchup as an 8.5-point favorite in the latest odds, and frankly, it could be even more. UCF has the advantage in talent, motivation for the biggest game of the season and personnel matchups. Here are the three major reasons UCF will beat Stanford.
