2. The running back position is going to be OK

The Aggies lost Jashaun Corbin to a hamstring injury that required surgery this past week. That is a big-time loss for the Aggies and a disappointing event for Corbin who sat behind Trayveon Williams a year ago and was ready to really make his impact as RB1 for the Aggies. He will have to wait another season though after the injury.

Now, the Aggies are left with Isaiah Spiller, Jacob Kidobi, Deneric Prince and Cordarrian Richardson.

Spiller shined against Lamar and really emerged as the starter for the Aggies for the rest of the season. He finished with 116 yards on 14 carries and two touchdowns. He ran hard and found the holes quickly. He was fast and made big-time plays that this team needed to be successful in this one.

The guy who started the game was redshirt sophomore Jacob Kibodi. He had 11 carries for 45 yards. I was happy with what I saw from Kibodi. He will easily be the No. 2 running back for the Aggies and will see a lot more playing time than anyone expected him to.

Add a touchdown by Cordarrian Richardson late in the fourth quarter and you have everything you could need in the running back room this season.
