1. Georgia is at home

The Georgia Bulldogs’ last loss at home in regular season game dates back to 2016. The simple fact that this game is being played in Sanford Stadium gives the Bulldogs a huge advantage. Football is simply a way of life for their fans and this has been the game they’ve had circled all offseason.

On third down, when Ian Book steps up to take the snap from the center, the offensive players will have a hard time hearing the snap count. This could very well lead to unforced penalties. When Notre Dame makes the occasional long run or deep pass, the momentum they feel will be hindered by the Dawgs’ fans.

Sanford Stadium has a capacity of over 92,000 and the game will be completely sold out. Georgia is going to make a huge statement this week when they take down the number seven ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Following the weekend, the Bulldogs should jump to number one in the polls after the dominant win.
