It truly is not shocking that the Rutgers Scarlet Knights lost once again. And with Michigan this Saturday, the idea of winning will have to wait another week. And base on the rest of their schedule, the idea of winning might have to wait until the 2020 season.

The Illinois Illini put up a valiant effort to upset Nebraska last weekend, which would’ve gave Lovie Smith that signature win he was looking for. The Illini still have a chance to make a bowl game this season and with a bye in Week 5, they’ll be able to get prepared for the long haul as they search for postseason eligibility.

The Indiana Hoosiers capped of their non-conference schedule with a win, finishing 3-0 in that department. Now all the Hoosiers have to do is pick up three conference wins to make a bowl game. But that first win might have to wait until Week 7 as the Hoosiers travel to East Lansing this Saturday and take on a stingy Spartan defense.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers remained undefeated in Week 4 but that’s because they had a bye week. Minnesota kicks off conference play this Saturday afternoon in a pivotal Big Ten West match up on the road against Purdue. It is hard to have a hot seat in Minnesota, but a loss could have the wood under PJ Fleck’s seat piling up.
