2. Emory Jones is fun to watch

Granted, this came against Towson, but Emory Jones came in at the end of the game and instantly gave the offense a second wind. He looked electrifying whether he was passing or running the ball and he gives Florida fans a sense of relief if they were to somehow lose Kyle Trask for an extended period of time.

Jones had a 29-yard run and finished the game 3-for-3 through the air with 39 yards and a touchdown pass. No, he’s not going to overtake Trask because of one good performance in garbage time, but he proved that he’s not going down without a fight.

Many, including myself, expected Jones to push Feleipe Franks for the starting job this offseason but he was eventually designated to the No. 3 quarterback on the depth chart behind Trask as well. If he puts it together when given the chances this season as well as in the offseason, anything is possible for this young dual-threat in 2020.
