Florida football has the first big test of the season against Auburn. Here are the three keys to the Gators keeping their playoff hopes alive.

Florida has the test we’ve all been waiting for. For the first time this season, the Gators face a ranked opponent, as No. 7 Auburn Tigers come to town to start the most difficult stretch of the Gators season.

Kyle Trask had one final tune up game before this match up, as the Gators easily dispatched Towson 38-0. It was another efficient performance from the offense and stellar game from the defense, who continue to show themselves as one of the best units in the country.

Auburn, meanwhile, continues to roll through their schedule. While many found them unconvincing in their first four games, they put together their best performance against Mississippi State, winning 56-23, in what was clearly Bo Nix’s best performance of the season, as he had 391 total yards and three touchdowns.

Both teams will look to keep their playoff hopes alive and win this one. Here are the three keys for Florida to beat Auburn.
