3. Get to Bo Nix early and often

It’s very clear while watching Auburn, this is two very different offenses when Bo Nix is uncomfortable. While Oregon only got one sack against Auburn freshman, They were able to put a lot of pressure on him in the first half and force him into mistakes.

For Florida, they have one of the very best pass rushes in the country. With 24 sacks, the Gators sit second in the nation in team sacks, and have continued to be a menace to opposing quarterbacks.

The comparable quarterback to Nix that Florida has faced would be Jarren Williams, who the Gators sacked ten times. While Auburn’s offensive line is certainly better than Miami’s, containing Nix in the pocket and not allowing him to run will be the key in this one. Having Jabari Zuniga back for this contest will be a major key.

Linebackers Jonathan Greenard and SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week Jeremiah Moon will have to do a good job of holding the edge, as Nix has yet to prove himself as a pocket passer. The last thing the Gators want to do is get stuck chasing Nix as he tries to create plays with his legs.
