Florida football will hit the road to take on a red-hot LSU team coming off a Utah State win. Will the Gators keep that momentum going?

The battle of two undefeated teams comes to Death Valley on Saturday night as LSU takes on the Florida Gators. Both teams have impressed in the first half of the year, with Florida and LSU both having top-10 wins against Auburn and Texas, respectively.

There is a ton riding on this game for both squads as they not only have SEC title hopes, but also College Football Playoff aspirations.

Florida comes into Louisiana 6-0 and off the heels of a huge win at home against then-No. 7 Auburn Tigers. The Gators defense has been the backbone of this team, giving up less than 10 points a game with suffocating run defense. Florida will be tested to the fullest on Saturday night going up against one of the best LSU offenses the Tigers have had in quite some time.

The LSU Tigers come into the matchup against Florida 5-0 and have made their name on the offensive side of the ball scoring 54 points a game. Quarterback Joe Burrow has led the Tigers out on offense with 22 passing touchdowns and limiting the turnovers in the first five games of the season.

The two worlds collide with the great defense of the Florida Gators and the high flying offense that is the LSU Tiger passing game. We will see who is for real and going to be a contender on Saturday as the Tigers have opened as 13.5-point favorites at home.

What could take place on Saturday evening in Baton Rouge?
