2. Defense got exposed

Let’s face it, Florida couldn’t stop much of anything on Saturday night in Death Valley. The Tigers were able to move the ball with relative ease and that led to 42 points on the scoreboard and 511 yards on the stat sheet.

Florida’s defense had a tough time slowing Joe Burrow and those elite receivers while also struggling against the run.

Heading into this one, Florida had been known as one of the best defenses in the country, but the Tigers did whatever they wanted. So this must mean the Gators got exposed, right?

Not so fast, my friends. LSU has been dominating every defense it has faced this season with a new-look, high-powered offensive attack. Burrow is playing the best football of his career and you could argue LSU’s offense is the scariest in college football right now.

Florida’s defense struggled, but it’s still elite.
