Florida football and Georgia clash in this top 10 SEC matchup. With more than just a conference title on the line, who will come out on top?

Florida football comes back to their home state to take on the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon. The Gators are coming off a much-needed bye week going into one of their toughest games of the season this weekend. On the other side, the Bulldogs are also coming off of a bye week after beating Kentucky 21-0, rebounding from their loss against South Carolina.

You cannot stress the importance of this game enough with both teams putting their seasons on the line come Saturday. These two one-loss teams have already had slip-ups in the first half of their schedules and cannot afford another one. To be considered for the college football playoff, this is a must-win game for both the Gators and the Bulldogs.

On a smaller scale, this game could potentially decide the SEC East. The Gators and the Bulldogs are slotted at first and second in the standings currently and have their sights set on a conference championship.

This game will feature two elite defenses. Georgia touts their incredibly talented defensive front with only 85 yards per game allowed on the ground. Meanwhile, the Gators have been incredible in their pass defense allowing less than 200 yards passing per game. Different strengths will be utilized for both defenses on Saturday, but this will be a defensive slugfest none the less. Here are three bold predictions for this SEC East matchup.
