3. D’Andre Swift plays a key role

D’Andre Swift has been a huge bright spot for the Bulldogs all season. The Bulldogs have struggled at times to move the ball, but Swift has been a reliable option in the backfield. Swift comes into the game with 752 rushing yards and seven touchdowns to his name, leading the Bulldogs on the ground.

The Gator defensive strength is, of course, their secondary which has multiple guys that are top NFL prospects for 2020-21. This alone should mean that the game-plan on Saturday is to feed Swift and make sure he is a large part of the offense. Swift is also coming off of one of his best games of the season rushing for 179 yards and two touchdowns against the Kentucky Wildcats.

Swift has surely started to catch fire as the season has worn on. Now getting a bulk of the carries for the Bulldogs, Swift will look to break out against a top 10 ranked Florida squad. If I am Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs, Swift will be option one to help Jake Fromm and the offense stay on schedule. Look for Georgia to try and gain momentum on the ground and have Swift’s name called quite a bit.
