1. Iowa State scores 50

When I watched Iowa State through the first two weeks of the season, it just seemed like there was something missing on offense. Brock Purdy was forcing things a little too much, the offensive line was struggling and there was no run game to speak of.

That has all changed heading into the final two weeks of the regular season.

The Cyclones have picked it up offensively and Purdy, as mentioned earlier, looks like one of the best quarterbacks in the country. Breece Hall has stepped up in the run game and is the clear No. 1 back, giving the offense a workhorse that it lost when David Montgomery was drafted.

Iowa State’s offense is a well-oiled machine at this point in the season and it will put up some gaudy numbers against Kansas. With Purdy throwing five touchdown passes and Hall reaching the end zone twice on the ground, that already puts the Cyclones at 49 points. Add in another score or a couple of field goals, at least, and you’ll have the offensive output.

Matt Campbell will feel great heading into the final week of the season with his second 50-point performance on the year under his belt, covering the spread and then some.
