As we head into the 2019 college football postseason, this week’s Sunday Morning Quarterback looks back at the best games from each week of the season.

When we get to the end of a college football regular season, it can often feel like a blur. With the mind focused on all the bowl games coming up on the schedule, all the action from the previous few months seems like it happened a lifetime ago. It can be tough to remember the best games that transpired from week to week.

The mind works in strange ways. Fans will often recall the most arcane moments about our own favorite teams, but remembering some of the most iconic moments from other places around the country and we can quickly clam up.

After weeks of data analysis and projections of modern systems on to the past, we are going to stick to a more contemporary question in this week’s Sunday Morning Quarterback. Specifically, we look back at which games were the best from each weekend.

From the last weekends of August through the first weekend of December, there were always multiple FBS games to watch. Sixteen weeks of action from the first pre-Labor Day kickoff to the conference championship games have brought us to this juncture. In that spirit, let’s look back at the best games from each week on the calendar to refresh the memory and prepare us for the postseason ahead.
