2. Washington will win the QB battle behind Jacob Eason

To start the season, Boise State found one of the best young quarterbacks in the country in Hank Bachmeier, but after an injury, he has played in just three games since the start of October.

It’s been an interesting season for the young passer, throwing nine touchdown passes and four interceptions with over 1,700 yards. This team could have an extremely bright future with him under center, but there’s a good chance we’ll see Jaylon Henderson start on Saturday. If that’s the case, Washington will have an upper-hand in the quarterback battle.

This isn’t a knock on Henderson, who has been great in place of Bachmeier this season, but the team has a higher ceiling with Hank back there.

Jacob Eason, on the other hand, hasn’t had the ideal season in Seattle, passing for 2,922 yards and 22 touchdowns with eight picks, but many believe he has the tools to be a star at the next level but he just hasn’t shown it consistently yet.

However, in three non-conference games this season, Eason has 901 yards, 10 touchdowns and just one interception.

We’ll see him break out against the Broncos.
