Texas A&M football had some problem areas in 2019 and they addressed some of them during the 2019 early signing period. Who will have an instant impact?

The Aggies filled some much-needed spots, though there are still guys that they are waiting on, hoping to grow this into one of the top classes this university has seen in a while.

While that brews, let’s talk about the top guys that signed on Wednesday during the early signing period and who could contribute right away.

3. Any of the offensive line commitments — literally

Yes, this sounds like a copout, but hear me out. The Aggies have had big-time issues at the offensive line position. A true freshman — Kenyon Green — earned SEC All-Freshman team honors. I wouldn’t be surprised to see any of these guys were about to talk about on the list in the season to come for sure.

The Aggies picked up Chris Morris, a huge get and an early enrollee. He won’t be an anchor of the line of anything like that, but he will be a great player for this team. Akinola Ogunbiyi flipped to Georgia but chose to go back to the Aggies and that was big. Josh Bankhead is a big-time guard who has been committed since his sophomore year and hasn’t wavered a bit. He is also an early enrollee.

Smart Chibuzo is a guard that could make a splash for this team as could Jordan Jefferson, who will likely play at center if he doesn’t move to the defensive line. Jefferson is also an early enrollee.
