Dan Mullen is looking to end Florida football’s 2020 class on a high note and there are three targets who sit atop the Gators’ big board.

All Dan Mullen needed was more resources and he would flourish as a head coach and recruiter and he’s doing just that at Florida.

The Gators currently have the No. 7 recruiting class in the country and fifth-best in the SEC with 24 commitments and room for a couple more pledges. National Signing Day is approaching and the Gators will be putting in some final touches on the 2020 recruiting class and that means landing some more elite talent which can help right away.

Who will the Gators be targeting on National Signing Day?

Damarcus Beckwith is an interesting prospect and a kid who could have an impact on more than just the football program. He is actually a two-sport athlete and could contribute on the hardwood as well.

The three-star athlete is listed as an athlete but has played primarily receiver and quarterback at the high school level but will likely be the former.

Standing 6-4 and weighing in at 215 pounds, Beckwith would be the ideal receiver prospect with plenty of athleticism and a jump-ball mentality from playing basketball. Basically, just throw it up to this kid and he’ll go up and get it.

Although he’s not the highest-rated prospect, he has impressive film and could be a contributor early on for the Gators. He is ranked the No. 386 overall prospect and 18th-best athlete reigning from Alabama. He is being courted by other SEC schools, but Florida is in a good spot with him.
