As mentioned earlier, Mike Leach is looking for an interior offensive lineman to finish out the class and that could be Kahlil Benson or it might just be Marcus Henderson from Memphis.

Henderson might just be the top name left on the board for the Bulldogs even though they might be losing an in-state battle for his services with Ole Miss. Benson is definitely the more likely option while Henderson would be best-case scenario — though you can’t go wrong with either kid.

Ole Miss just got a visit from Henderson a couple of weeks ago and he’s headed to Athens to visit Georgia this weekend, so the chances are getting slimmer and the fact that Mississippi State has a new staff and the relationships haven’t been developed could also decide this one.

But it’s not over until it’s over and the four-star still has a decision to make on signing day.

Henderson is listed as the No. 334 overall prospect and 15th-best offensive guard in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports.

Mississippi State will hope to beat out the likes of Georgia, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Missouri and Oregon for his services, but don’t hold your breath here.
