Another defensive end target, Alfred Collins is likely down to the Red River Rivalry teams even though Alabama is also technically in the running still.

The Texas-native is ranked the No. 62 overall prospect in the class and second-best strong-side defensive end, but 247Sports has him rated even higher as a five-star prospect and No. 32 in the country. He’s one of those players who could be a game-changer for Alex Grinch’s defense and he would come in and compete for time right away.

Collins already has impressive size at 6-foot-5 and 284 pounds and with that weight, he could play anywhere on the defensive line, but he’s also athletic enough to blow by offensive linemen.

Strength, size and speed are three things you look for in a defensive end and Collins possesses each of those traits which has made him one of the most sought-after defensive ends in the 2020 class.
