Florida football signed the eighth-best recruiting class in 2020 and sixth-best in the SEC which keeps them on pace with the rest of the contenders.

Dan Mullen has constructed one of the better classes in the nation for 2020, landing 25 commitments and earning the eighth-best ranking in the country.

The Gators have just the sixth-best incoming recruiting class in the SEC, but it’s good enough to keep pace with the rest of the conference. You know the conference is deep with five teams ahead of the No. 8 Gators in the recruiting rankings.

There will still be a number of instant impact players from the class.

Which signees will have an instant impact in 2020?

Florida is losing a few major targets from the 2019 squad in Van Jefferson, Josh Hammond, Tyrie Cleveland and Freddie Swain. That’s the entire starting three from the receiving corps and a valuable backup. That leaves plenty of vacancies for young guys to come in and compete.

That’s where Xzavier Henderson comes in.

Henderson was choosing between Florida and Clemson in the recruiting process, but the Miami-native decided to stay closer to home. He comes in as the No. 66 player in the class and 11th-best receiver, according to 247Sports.

With a 6-foot-3.5, 180-pound frame, Henderson could become a go-to target early on. He may not mold into the No. 1 target as a true freshman, but he’ll almost definitely crack the rotation.
