Losing Jabari Zuniga is a tough blow for a solid defense but how do you replace a talent like that on the defensive line? You recruit a young kid with a high ceiling and a 6-3, 235-pound frame.

Antwaun Powell is a four-star prospect from Chesapeake, Va., who is ranked the No. 182 overall player and third-best weak-side defensive end in the class, per 247Sports. He’s the highest-rated early enrollee defensive end in 2020 for the Gators and he tops Princely Umanmielen as the No. 1 defensive end in Florida’s class.

Florida is known for producing quality defensive ends and Powell may be the latest to join the fold. The Gators do have guys like Zachary Carter and Andrew Chatfield Jr. on the roster to help replace Zuniga, but don’t count Powell out.

Early enrollees have a leg up on the rest of the incoming recruiting class and that’s why Powell should see some immediate playing time.

Mullen isn’t afraid to play young guys early on defense and Powell should be the next one to crack the defensive line rotation, along with this next incoming freshman.
