LSU will see another C-USA opponent in Week 3 with a neutral site matchup against Rice who went 3-9 a season ago with all victories in conference play. Don’t expect the Owls to get their first non-conference win in years here.

The Tigers will be heating up at this point and gearing up for the start of SEC play, so expect one last smackdown before they head back home to face Ole Miss.

Final Score: Rice 9, LSU 42 (3-0)

To this point in the season, LSU has only allowed two touchdowns, and Ole Miss will find out that this defense is no joke — even without Dave Aranda.

Matt Corral will win the starting quarterback job for Lane Kiffin’s Rebels but he’ll have a forgettable afternoon in Baton Rouge. He’ll throw a few interceptions and find himself on his backside more often than not as his line won’t be able to handle the LSU pass rush.

The Tigers give up only one touchdown, making that three total on the season through the first month.

Final Score: Ole Miss 10, LSU 35 (4-0, 1-0 SEC)
