LSU Football: Way-too-early game-by-game predictions for 2020
Arkansas, like Ole Miss, will be under the direction of a new head coach in 2020 as Sam Pittman has taken over for Chad Morris. The Razorbacks have a complete rebuild approaching, however, which makes this game less intriguing. The Tigers should have their way with the Razorbacks, picking up their first road win of the season.
That shouldn’t be discouraging for the Razorbacks and Pittman, however, because they have a bright future ahead.
Final Score: LSU 30, Arkansas 10 (6-1, 2-1)
Another week, another opponent with a first-year head coach. This time, it’s Mike Leach who’s new to the conference and he, too, will have a bright future in the SEC.
Unfortunately for Leach, he’ll face one of the toughest road tests of his career at LSU in late-October with the Tigers battling for an SEC title. This one won’t be pretty for Mississippi State even though the Bulldogs added KJ Costello at quarterback who should help them get to a bowl game in 2020.
This one will be all LSU, however.
Final Score: Mississippi State 17, LSU 37 (7-1, 3-1)
