Running Back

Starting running back: Cam’Ron Harris
Backup: Jaylan Knighton

I think that this is one of the deepest positions on the Hurricanes roster this season and that is largely due to Miami’s 2020 recruiting class.

True freshman Jaylan Knighton is going to be a major contributor this season due to his speed and I could see him being used as the returner as well this season. The other true freshman, Don Chaney, is very talented as well and will see time on the field this season.

I believe junior running back Cam’Ron Harris will be main ballcarrier and have a breakout season this year and challenge for a 1,000 yards. Robert Burns has experience, but needs to show that he can stay healthy.

Overall, I think this is a very talented group that will only get better as the season goes on with Knighton and Chaney getting more experience.
