For the second straight week, Michigan will be facing a Group of Five opponent at home. Arkansas State finished the 2019 season with an 8-5 record and should be decent in 2020, but don’t expect an upset here.

Michigan will come out firing on all cylinders and run away with a big win as Joe Milton throws four touchdown passes and gives Dylan McCaffrey a chance to prove himself in the second half. And the run game will account for 200-plus yards in an overall dominant performance.

Final Score: Arkansas State 10, Michigan 49 (3-0)

The first Big Ten game of the season comes with a little extra motivation. The Wolverines got smacked by Wisconsin on the road last September, but the Badgers are losing Jonathan Taylor and that’s where most of the offense came from in 2019. Heck, Taylor made Michigan’s defense look silly last season.

Michigan will get some revenge here as Milton and the offense remain hot even though Wisconsin’s defense will be one of the best in the conference again. It’ll be a close one, though.

Final Score: Wisconsin 17, Michigan 24 (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten)
