This is where things get interesting for the Wolverines. Coming off an emotional win over Wisconsin at home, they must go on the road to face arguably Ohio State’s biggest threat at the start of October.

Will the Wolverines pull off a big road upset over the Nittany Lions? Will Joe Milton, or Dylan McCaffrey, make their first big statement since a Week 1 win at Washington?

Penn State picks up a big win here and holds off a hungry Michigan team despite the Wolverines playing stingy defense. The young Wolverine quarterbacks will make some critical mistakes late.

Final Score: Michigan 20, Penn State 28 (4-1, 1-1)

Michigan State will play host to Michigan as the mid-point marker of 2020 and this one will be a little different as there’s no Mark Dantonio on the opposing sideline.

Will Mel Tucker get Michigan State fired up to the same degree as Dantonio when it comes to facing Michigan? That’s the biggest question here.

The Spartans are going through a major transition and Michigan will have too much talent for Michigan State here.

Final Score: Michigan 30, Michigan State 17 (5-1, 2-1)
