Every year, it just seems like these two teams play with some extra hatred. There have been blowouts between the Wolverines and the Nittany Lions over the past five years, but there have also been close calls — just like last season when Ronnie Bell dropped a fourth-and-goal pass that would have tied the game.

Michigan has a quarterback battle on its hands with two unproven passers in the running and the defense is losing some key pieces.

Penn State finally rises up on the road and steals a big win from the Wolverines.

Final Score: Penn State 28, Michigan 20 (5-0, 2-0)

After an emotional road win over Michigan, a game like this could turn into a major letdown.

Listen, if this game was played in Iowa City at night, it would likely end in a big win in favor of the Hawkeyes, but that’s just the type of magic Iowa conjures at home under the lights. Luckily for James Franklin, he’s facing Iowa at home and he’ll definitely have the upper-hand in terms of talent and coaching.

Kirk Ferentz always has his teams ready for big games, but this one won’t be easy with a new quarterback under center and the offense in limbo.

Final Score: Iowa 17, Penn State 31 (6-0, 3-0)
