Maryland was one of the biggest surprises in the Big Ten last season in the first couple of weeks, and then a loss to Temple changed that.

Mike Locksley is a solid recruiter and could get this program back to where it needs to be, but Maryland is far from perfect. The Terrapins have issues at just about every position, especially the most important which is quarterback.

This one will be a lock for Penn State.

Final Score: Maryland 20, Penn State 34 (10-1, 7-1)

Greg Schiano was hired to return Rutgers back to relevance, but the program has been in the basement of the Big Ten for years and it doesn’t seem like the light at the end of the tunnel is anywhere close. He’s a good coach and will likely do a good job with the Scarlet Knights, but there’s too much damage to fix.

Will Schiano have Rutgers playing at a high enough level already to pull off an upset in Piscataway? Not a chance, in my opinion.

Final Score: Penn State 38, Rutgers 10 (11-1, 8-1)
