Pick Analysis. RB. Lamical Perine. 5. 58. Scouting Report. Florida. player

In four years at Florida, Lamical Perine established himself as one of the top running backs in the SEC.

He finished his college career with 2,485 rushing yards while averaging five yards a carry and scoring 22 rushing touchdowns. He also proved reliable in the passing game as he hauled in 674 receiving yards for eight touchdown grabs.

Perine would fit well with Ron Rivera and the Washington Redskins. With Derrius Guice having suffered season ending injuries in back to back years and Adrian Peterson 35 years old, Washington needs to find a running back they can count on.

As a player who did not miss a single game of his college career, Perine can be the steady hand needed in the Washington backfield.

Projection: Fifth round (Redskins)
