Whenever a defensive lineman finishes in the top five for total tackles in a given season, you know he’s been extremely productive. Osa Odighizuwa was No. 5 on the Bruins in 2019 with 46 total tackles and that was just the tip of the iceberg.

Odighizuwa also finished first on the team in tackles for loss (10) and third in sacks (3.5). He looked like one of the most dominant defenders on the team.

The 6-foot-2, 280-pound senior already has the frame NFL teams look for in an interior defensive lineman and he’s only gotten better over the past couple of seasons. Pro Football Focus even listed him as a second-team All-Pac-12 selection in 2019.

Through his three years with the Bruins, he has been credited with 90 total tackles, 21.5 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks — most of that production coming from the past two years.

Don’t be surprised to hear Odighizuwa’s name called late on day two or day three of next year’s NFL draft.
