One of the Pac-12’s top 2021 NFL Draft prospects on either side of the ball has to be Paulson Adebo. The senior cornerback was named to the All-Pac-12 first team in 2019 and was one of the league’s top defenders and should be the same heading into 2020.

For a program known for its defense over the years, there have been a shockingly-low number of defensive backs selected in the NFL draft. In fact, the last defensive back selected in the NFL draft was back in 2018 (Justin Reid) and he happens to be the only member of the Stanford secondary selected since 2015.

Adebo was a second-team All-American cornerback as a sophomore, recording 64 total tackles, five tackles for loss, four interceptions and a whopping 17 pass deflections in 13 games. His numbers took a step back in 2019 because he played in just nine games, but he still managed 33 tackles, four interceptions and 10 pass deflections.

This kid is an absolute ballhawk with lockdown capabilities and NFL teams are going to be scrambling to call his name in the 2021 draft.

Oh, and his 6-1, 192-pound frame can’t hurt, either.
