If Walker Little didn’t suffer an injury after just one game of the 2019 season, he would likely be on an NFL roster as we speak.

The 2018 All-Pac-12 first-teamer was a rising star in the conference as well as the country and he looked like the best offensive tackle in the league as just a sophomore. This came just one season after being named a Freshman All-American and 2017 Pac-12 Freshman Offensive Co-Player of the Year. He was turning heads immediately.

Now that he’s coming off a season-ending injury and will likely be on the preseason All-Pac-12 first team for 2020, there’s some concern that he may have lost a step.

Will the fact that he missed the entire 2019 season with a serious injury scare some teams away? Not if he performs well in 2020 and shows that it didn’t slow him down and he’s still the same dominant offensive tackle he was in 2018.

If the 6-foot-7, 320-pound tackle can live up to the hype in 2020 as a redshirt junior, there’s a good chance he could be the first Pac-12 player selected in the 2021 NFL Draft. This kid is that good.
