NFL Draft 2020: Rookie jersey numbers for all first-round picks
C.J. Henderson will don No. 21 with the Jacksonville Jaguars as he will not be allowed to wear the No. 5 or No. 1 uniforms he wore at Florida as an NFL defensive back.
Jedrick Willis will rep No. 71 in Cleveland after dawning No. 74 at Alabama. He said in a Twitter post he wants to “start a legacy” after speculation he’d wear No. 73 to honor former Browns star offensive lineman Joe Thomas and mentor Doug Dieken.
Mekhi Becton‘s jersey number has not yet been officially announced, but the lineman has requested No. 77. The former Louisville standout told reporters he did not feel right in his high school No. 70 and that his college No. 73 is retired (Joe Klecko) by the Jets. Thus, he requested 77 but has yet to hear back.
Alabama star Henry Ruggs III will continue to wear No. 11 in the pros as a Raider. He will look to help lead the franchise to the postseason for just the second time since 2002 as a rookie in 2020.
Tristan Wirfs will dawn No. 78 while blocking for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He wore No. 74 at Iowa, but that number is taken by veteran offensive lineman Ali Marpet.
Javon Kinlaw will wear rock the No. 99 jersey for the 49ers. He wore No. 99 at one point at South Carolina but his best known for his work while dawning the No. 3 jersey.
Jerry Jeudy will wear No. 10 with the Broncos. The number was last worn by wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders who was a key part of Denver’s Super Bowl 50-winning squad in 2015.
A.J. Terrell will wear No. 24 with the Falcons after repping the No. 8 jersey at Clemson. This number was long worn by running back Devonta Freeman, who is currently a free agent.
