Ohio State opens the season with an in-state battle and this isn’t exactly what you’d call a rivalry because these two programs are on different ends of the spectrum.

On one hand, Bowling Green went 3-9 in 2019 and is expected to finish in last place in the MAC East in 2020 and on the other, Ohio State is fresh off a playoff appearance and is expected to run away with the Big Ten.

I bet you can guess why the Falcons are the No. 12 team on the schedule for the mighty Buckeyes.

Just ahead of Bowling Green on this list, but far ahead in the MAC East, is Buffalo. The Bulls are the projected No. 1 team in the MAC East division and while they’re second-to-last on the list of Ohio State opponents, you have to realize the Big Ten foes are much tougher.

That’s not to say Buffalo won’t be solid in 2020, but the Bulls aren’t going into Columbus in Week 3 and pulling off the upset of the Buckeyes.
