The month of October won’t be the most forgiving for Florida as the Gators will likely know before November if they’re still in the race for the SEC East crown. Three of Florida’s top six opponents in 2020 come in the month of October and another comes at the end of September. That’s going to be an absolute gauntlet stretch for this team.

LSU would be No. 1 again if this game was in Baton Rouge or Joe Burrow was returning, but neither are happening and the uncertainty of Myles Brennan under center keeps the Tigers at No. 2.

Ed Orgeron is a heck of a coach and he’ll have them playing at a high level again, but don’t expect the Tigers to have a season like they had in 2019.

For the first time in years, Georgia isn’t the favorite to win the SEC East and that distinction belongs to the Gators. This rivalry battle might just be for all the marbles on Halloween and The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party will be much more intriguing than it’s been in years.

Last season’s game was decided by seven points and this year could come down to the wire as well but Georgia has some major question marks like will Jamie Newman be the ideal QB1? Who will take over in the backfield? Will the defense be elite again?

Georgia has to top the list, especially with the LSU game coming at home.
