The Heisman Trophy usually goes to the best player on the best team. Here are possible Heisman candidates for every Pac-12 football team.

It is difficult for many of the teams in the Pac-12 to make a run at an undefeated season or a conference championship without elite quarterback play. Most teams that reside at the bottom of the conference would need a quarterback to elevate a marginal skill position group.

Most fans of college football are already aware that the Heisman Trophy has become a de facto quarterback award, so no need to rehash the stats. If you need the stats rehashed, here they are Heisman Trophy candidates.

There are some quarterbacks on this list that are legitimate darkhorse Heisman candidates. If Herman Edwards and the Arizona State Sun Devils put their foot on the glass offensively, Jayden Daniels has all of the tools to win the Heisman.

Davis Mills is another quarterback with the physical tools to win the Heisman Trophy as well. As the Cardinal continues the transition from power football to the spread, Mills can make every throw in the book.

Kedon Slovis has the chance to put up ridiculous numbers in his second year as starting quarterback at USC. This is also his second year at the helm of the air-raid offense. The Trojans are loaded at the receiver position as well.

Sit back relax and let’s start the discussion of every Pac-12 team’s top Heisman candidate.
