Week 2

Game of the week: Auburn at Georgia

This one is my game of the week and it wasn’t hard. Bo Nix against Jamie Newman to stay in the race for their respective divisions? Sign me up.

Nix has experience in the SEC and did overall pretty well in his first year in the SEC, but Newman is transferring from Wake Forest and has talent of his own. Nix is athletically able to win this game, but he is looking for a new offensive line and that could be an issue. Newman is going into a Georgia team that is already the favorite in the East though and that is exciting.

Honorable mention: Texas A&M at Alabama

This is an important game in the SEC West and one that will decide whether the Aggies are a contender or if they are simply a middle-tier team once again.

Alabama is the favorite in the SEC West as well and the fact that many teams would love to see the Tide be rolled over isn’t lost on the Aggies I promise you. The questions are this: which Kellen Mond shows up and how good is Mac Jones?
