2. Do either of these teams have a defense?

Let me tell you this, Ole Miss doesn’t have a very strong defense. That is going to be an issue for them going forward. They struggled to stop Kyle Trask, Kyle Pitts and the rest of the Florida Gators. Pitts went for 170 receiving yards and Trask went for 416 passing yards.

While the Rebels had an offense to match the Gators, which we will discuss in a minute, they didn’t have the defense to match it and that lost them the game.

What about the Florida defense though? They did enough to win, but gave up 35 points to Ole Miss. They forced one turnover, but so did the Rebels.

Is Florida’s defense good enough to win the SEC East? It’s not as bad as taking on the West, but they do take on LSU later this season, so things could get dicey if the Gators don’t figure out the defensive thing as the season goes on.
