2. Zach Wilson surpasses 2,000 yards for the month

One of the most underrated quarterbacks in the nation has to be Zach Wilson who’s entering his third season with the Cougars.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Utah-native was fresh off a tough season in which he passed for nearly 2,400 yards and 11 touchdowns with nine interceptions but he’s off to a torrid start in 2020. In fact, he’s passed for 624 yards and four touchdowns with only one interception and he’s looking to maintain that momentum in October.

Wilson is going to average over 300 yards per game and that’ll lead to over 2,000 yards passing along with 15 touchdown passes. As long as he keeps the interception number down, the Cougars’ offense is going to absolutely flourish.

The junior quarterback is going to turn some heads and draw some interest from the NFL after a breakout junior season and the month of October might be his best five-game stretch yet.
