Florida Football: Kyle Trask looking for first Heisman moment vs. Texas A&M
By Shelbie Warr
An undefeated Florida football team walks into College Station on Saturday, looking to continue that streak. Here is our preview of the matchup.
After an ugly win against Vanderbilt, Texas A&M was blown out by Alabama a week ago. Now, the Aggies face a talented Florida offense that has the ability to drop 50 on them, just like Alabama did.
Florida, on the other hand, sits undefeated after out-scoring Ole Miss and South Carolina in strong, dominant fashion.
Now, it’s the battle of Kyle Trask — who is named after Kyle Field and comes from a family of Aggies — and Kellen Mond. If that doesn’t interest you, I’m not sure what to tell you. This game could actually be interesting, at least more so than some people think.
Here is how you can catch the matchup:
Date: Saturday, Oct. 10
Time: 12:00 p.m. ET
Location: College Station, Texas
Venue: Kyle Field

Keys to Victory
For both teams, it starts on the defensive side of the ball. The Aggies line hasn’t been bad, but the secondary has been atrocious and the same could be said for the Gators. The difference? Florida has been able to put up big-time points and the Aggies have struggled to keep up with opponents offensively.
The Aggies will have to contain Kyle Pitts and Kadarius Toney as well as Trask — which is a tall order for any team. The Gators will have to do their best to contain what can be an explosive offense if everything is going as planned, but we will have to wait and see if that actually happens.
Prediction
Florida won’t blow past the Aggies, but it will be over by the start of the fourth quarter. It will be a shoot out early, allowing the Ags to hang around and look semi-competent, but the Gators will ultimately leave Aggieland undefeated and likely at the top of the SEC in terms of power rankings depending on what Alabama does against Ole Miss.
Final Score: Florida 38, Texas A&M 27
