Florida football and its elite offense has a tough task on the road to College Station, Texas, to take on the No. 21 Texas A&M Aggies.

Last week, the SEC had two games that featured two ranked opponents but Georgia versus Auburn was underwhelming. This week, there should more competitive series of matchups.

This week, there are two sets of games that feature meetings of ranked opponents. The No. 4 Florida Gators (2-0), who have one of the most productive offenses in the nation, travel to College Station to take on the No. 21 Texas A&M Aggies.

The Gators and the Aggies have met a total of four times all time, splitting two games each. They have met twice since Texas A&M joined the SEC in 2012. The Aggies won the last matchup in 2017 when they took down the Gators in Gainesville, 19-17. This was the last season with Jim McElwain as head coach when they finished with a 4-7 (3-5 SEC) record.

The Aggies are coming off a disappointing 52-24 loss to the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide. In that game, the Aggies revealed several key weaknesses that could give the Gators the upper hand. The Gators have several key pieces that will help them compete for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
