2. Malik Cunningham throws for 350 yards

Criticism has been thrown at Malik Cunningham through the first three games of the season, fair or not. The junior quarterback had a breakout 2019 season but has taken his lumps through a third of the 2020 season and it’s not all his fault. He has struggled to find time to throw, getting sacked 11 times through just three contests.

Cunningham is coming off a game in which he was sacked seven times and he completed just 9-of-21 passes for 107 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions against Pitt.

It’s tough to bounce back from a game like that as a young starter, but the matchup with Georgia Tech will do him some good. If there’s one team that would be perfect for him to face in order to get back on track, it’s the Yellow Jackets which have had a horrid defense this season, allowing over 440 yards per game and over 260 of those through the air.

The junior quarterback is going to bounce back in a big way, posting a season-high 350 yards and three touchdowns, surpassing his previous best of 343 in the opener against Western Kentucky.

This is one way to get back on track.
