2. Kyren Williams rushes for 150 yards

I’m firmly on the Kyren Williams bandwagon and when you watch this kid run, it’s easy to see why. He’s a tough runner and he has plenty of athleticism, too. He’s not quite the home-run threat that C’Bo Flemister has been, but that can all change with a couple of busted runs.

The sophomore running back is off to a hot start this season, rushing just 29 times for 176 yards and two touchdowns which equates to a 6.0 yards per carry average. He’ll add to that with a 150-yard game which means he’ll have two 100-yard games in three outings to start the 2020 season and he’s only going to get better.

Florida State’s defense hasn’t been quite as dominant as it would have hoped. In fact, the Seminoles allow over 420 yards per game and 140-plus of those come on the ground. That’s music to the ears of Williams who has to realize that the Seminoles haven’t exactly faced an elite running back in two out of three weeks — Miami’s Cam’Ron Harris was elite in game two.

Williams will go off for his best game of the season, rushing for 150 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries, surpassing 300 rushing yards on the year.
